Today, Jesus stands as the most influential and admired person in human history.
Most incredibly, Jesus is known and worshipped for His claim to be God, His miraculous healings, life changing teachings and His work of salvation, which He accomplished on the cross.

Jesus proclaimed that He was God’s promised saviour, performed powerful deeds and saved with authority like no other. Jesus promised His followers abundant joy, the help of the Holy Spirit and reconciliation with God the Father.

Jesus also commissioned His followers to continue His mission in sacrificially serving the world and proclaiming God’s love until His return.

At the moment of His defeat Jesus was victorious! That is why the cross is the most known symbol on earth. A cruel instrument of capital punishment became the symbol and hope of mankind.

On the cross, Jesus the perfect God-man died in our place, as a substitute for our sin and rebellion. Jesus did this so that through faith we might be forgiven and reconciled to our Father in heaven forever.

The testimony of history and scripture (eye-witness accounts) also reveals that three days after Jesus’ death, He rose again. This triumphant victory demonstrated His ultimate power over sin, Satan and death and the future glory for those who trust in Him. A Christian is one who believes this, confesses that Jesus is indeed Lord of all and rejoices in God’s saving work through Jesus.
